June 10-11 – Museum of Man Annual Indian Fair
Native Americans from across North America come to Balboa Park’s Museum of Man to celebrate the various cultures of the American Indian. Performances throughout the weekend by Irene Bedard and the Yellow Bird Indian Dancers are scheduled along with a genuine Indian Market featuring award-winning Indian artisans from throughout the United States and Mexico. Displays include handcrafted jewelry, pottery, basketry, beadwork, masks, katchinas and paintings. June 10 – July 4 – San Diego County Fair
The Del Mar Fairgrounds light up with the sights, smells and sounds of Ferris Wheels, cotton candy and children’s smiles. Live music, food, vendors, agriculture contests and much more. The Wave Waterpark - In its 12th season, Vista’s wave haven has a new multi-level attraction called Rippity’s Rainforest, complete with climbing nets, slides, aquatic components and the sounds of the rainforest. Aspiring surfers can test their skills on the man-made wave machine called the Flowrider. Kids can play on Rippity's Rainforest and everyone can enjoy the thrill of water slides or just relax on a tube.
